FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do I book a class?
You can easily book classes by downloading the free Momence app or visiting our website here. From there you can purchase a drop-in, class pass, or membership for our classes.
  • When can I book into class?
Our booking window is 14 days prior to a class.
  • How early should I arrive?
We open our studio doors 20 minutes before class (sometimes sooner). If you're new, please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure our instructors have enough time to get you set up on your bike properly, review class practices, and get you comfortable clipping in and out. All other riders should have their bikes adjusted and be clipped in no later than 5 minutes before class.
  • Do I need special cycling shoes?
You will need cycling shoes, but don't be intimidated! We offer rental shoes for $2 (sizes from womens 6 to mens 13) and ensure we will help you feel comfortable clipping in and out of the bike. We are a clip-in only studio, and our bikes are SPD or Look Delta clip compatible.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
As a small studio, we have an 8-hour cancellation policy for all classes. If you cancel within that 8 hours time period, you will automatically be charged a $10 fee. Additionally, all “no-shows” will be automatically charged $20. As of November 15 2024, if you do not have a card on file to charge the automatic fee, you will automatically lose your class credit instead. We understand things come up, and in case of an emergency, please email us at psyclemt@gmail.com. *If you are feeling ill the night before a class, it's best to cancel out as we do not waive late fees for sickness. Repeat offenders may be asked to solely schedule day-of if late cancellations become a habitual issue.
  • Can I choose my own spot?
Currently our studio has 10 bikes and are available first come, first serve.
  • What if a class fills up before I schedule?
Join our waitlist! When a spot in the class becomes available, the system will automatically send a text to the first person on the waitlist, asking them to confirm that they want to be booked into the class. You have 60 minutes to confirm you want to be booked into the class before the system moves to the next rider on the waitlist. The empty spot in the class will be reserved until the system has gone through everyone on the waitlist or until someone is booked into the class from the waitlist. You can get off the waitlist up to 30 minutes before class. If you know you cannot make it with a 30 minutes heads up, it is your responsibility to take yourself off the waitlist. Riders who don’t have a phone number on file will be contacted via email.
  • Do I have to pay to be on the waitlist?
Yes, it's just like signing up for class. If you get in, you're all set and your ride is covered. If you don't get in, the class will credit to your account. Learn more about the Waitlist by toggling to the Waitlist FAQs above.
  • Do you offer private rides?
Yes! We do. Please email psyclemt@gmail.com or reach out via Instagram for pricing and dates available. We offer customized playlists and rides for up to 10 riders, including our exclusive (B)RIDE. More information on our Private Rides page.
  • Do you send out class reminders?
When you book into a class, Mindbody will send you an automatic email confirming your class reservation. You also have the option to opt into text messages from Mindbody which we highly recommend. You will only receive messages about your scheduled class, if you're moved off the waitlist, and if a class has been cancelled. We also send out a pretty rad monthly e-blast that includes promos, theme rides, studio happenings, PsycleMT playlist of the month, podcast recommendations, and other fun fitness information. Subscribe to receive those via email as well when you opt in for text messaging!
  • Do you have water and sweat towels available?
Yes! We have a water for filling up your water bottle — don’t forget to bring one! We also sell our signature reusable cycling bottles for $3. We also have complimentary sweat towels for every bike, every class! Don't forget to grab on before class starts!
  • Do my class passes and drop-ins expire?
They do. Please see below the expirations of class passes and drop-ins. Please note that promo passes may have a different expiration; in that case, please check with your instructor before/after class or reach out! Drop-In: Expires in 5 months 5 Class Pass: Expires in 5 months 10 Class Pass: Expires in 10 months 20 Class Pass: Expires in 12 months
  • Do you offer classes for beginners?
Our classes are thoughtfully designed to be scalable, ensuring that whether you're a new or experienced rider, you'll find comfort and challenge at your level. While we don't regularly schedule beginner-specific sessions, our instructors make it a point to go over the basics at the start of every class. Additionally, they provide modifications for the majority of out-of-the-saddle jogs and choreography throughout the ride. This approach guarantees that all participants, regardless of their experience, can feel confident and supported in our classes and leave feeling successful.
  • Can I have my phone in class?
Simple answer: no! We want you to disconnect and engage with your ride, not your phone. We recommend you take a pre or post selfie or share one of our social media posts!
  • What is the waitlist feature?
The waitlist features offers you the ability to add yourself to a waitlist when a class is full. In the event that another client with an existing reservation gives up their spot in the class, the first person will be notified and given the option to opt into class; they will have 60 minutes before it offers it to the next waitlisted rider. Our waitlist can have a maximum of 5 riders.
  • How will I know if I got off the waitlist?
You will receive a text (and an email if you do not have your phone number on file) and have 60 minutes to respond to claim the open spot. Please understand that if you add yourself to the waitlist, you should treat it like you're going to attend class.
  • Do I pay to get on the waitlist?
Yes; it's treated like signing up for class. If you don't get in, the class will credit to your account to be used for a different class.
  • How late can I be added to class from the waitlist?
Up to 30 minutes before class. Once again, if you know you cannot attend class within a certain amount of time, it is YOUR responsibility to remove yourself off the waitlist to avoid a late-cancellation fee. Our cancellation policy is 8-hrs, so if you're added to class within that time frame, you're subject to a late cancel. We do not grace waitlist late cancels under any circumstance.
